INTRODUCTION

 This is the Official Website of the Comparative Anatomy Museum of "Alexander" Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki (ATEIThe).

 The Comparative Anatomy Museum of "Alexander" Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki (ATEIThe) is a museum of human and animal Comparative Anatomy.

 The museum was founded by Professor of Anatomy, Prof. Roxani M. Hainoglou-Mitsaki. Co-founder: Professor of Osteology and Arthrology Ioannis E. Mitsakis, Collaborator: MSc Kyriaki S. Sianou, Fellow-worker: Aikaterini Anastasiou (Student in the Department of Physiotherapy).

 It is located in the "Alexander" Technological Educational Institute of Thessaloniki (ATEIThe), Sindos, Thessaloniki, Makedonia, Hellas. It is in the facilities of the Department of Anatomy of the School of Health Professions and Welfare of ATEIThe.

 The museum was officially founded in 2010 but the developing of the museum started at 2006.

 Exhibits the evolution of some apparatuses of Vertebrates.
The specimens, skeletons and systematic collections holded delineate an ideal trend along time which led to the development and definition of the vertebrate shape existing today.

  In the Museum are preserved a lot of collections with education and scientific values. Osteological and osteoarchaeological finds coming from many Hellenic places.
